27. 7.QRA Gripens have been activated to catch up a plane without communication. The plane was identified as Boeing 767 Delta Air Lines N825MH.

7. 3.The last week two pilots from Èáslav successfully completed independent air-to-air refuelling with a one-seat version of the JAS-39C. Each of them managed to successfully connect to the tanker C-130 Hercules several times during the independent training flights.

16. 8. QRA Gripens have been activated to catch up a plane at altitude 11km without communication. The plane was identified as Boeing 777 Cargo FedEx (USA) near Brno at 8:37PM.

22. 12.The last flying event was flown on 18th December. A group of new trained Gripen pilots flew their the first "solo" flight during the day and the last flight of the day was variegated by formation flight with A-319 and a quaternion of Gripens.

27. 9.We have taken part in X. NATO Days in Ostrava on the 18-19th of September. On Sunday visitors had a chnce to see two aircraft formations concisted of Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, Mig-29AS, JAS-39C and Tornado. Thanks for taking of those pictures goes to members of the 212th squadron who provided us with L-159T1.

3. 9.This weekend we will participate in airshow Czech Internacional Air Fest.
24. 8.Today we started move to Pardubice. Our squadron will be operate from airbase Pardubice for few weeeks.

23. 7.July 3.-4. we attended the Waddington International Air air show. Our display pilot first lieutenant Michal Danek won the award for best flight demonstration.
7. 7. June 28 - July 2 we participated in international exercises New FIP, which was focused on training of radar operators,air defense, pilots, forward air controllers and QRA in real conditions of use of electronic warfare.

22. 6.From Thursday to Sunday, we are attended the air show at Air Force Base Gilze-Rijen in Holland.
11. 6.Members of the ice hockey extra league champion team HC EATON Pardubice visited the 21st tactical airbase. They also visited the 211th tactical squadron with the championship trophy. The players had an opportunity to see over the airbase. They could try the aircraft simulators and to peep into jet aircrafts L 159 and JAS 39.

10. 6.The last weekend we are participated on airshow in Pardubice. In this occasion we made some pictures which you can see in photogalery.

27. 4.Between the 12th and the 16th of April some members of the 21th AFB took part in an international exercise Brilliant Ardent 2010. This exercise is the main squadron training for units, that are under direct NATO command. The exercise was carried out in German air space. Four supersonic Gripens and four light fighters ALCA were participating in this exercise from AFB Caslav. Ground support personnel was stationed at AFB Neubrandenburg in Germany and one of the pilots was helping with the coordination of this operation from commanding centre in Larisa-Greece.

1. 4.Thursday 25.3. Alpha scramble signal was heard in QRA. Two Gripens were guided to non responding Boeing 737 of Ryanair Airlines immediately after take off. QRA Gripens has got order to return to AFB Caslav after establishing radio communication with 737.

31. 3.Our pilots were practicing gun shooting on ground target in shooting range Boletice last week.
26. 3.Some time ago we informed about the test QRA Czech and Slovak Air Force by the PZL M28 from the Polish Air Force. The Polish side has published more detailed information on the flight.
25. 3.Last week, our pilots have the opportunity to practice DACT - Dissimilar Air Combat Training. Opponents were EF2OOO from unit JG74.

12. 3.The operational test of the Czech Quick Reaction Alert has been done by the NATO headquarter. The QRA Gripens were guided to Polish airplane PZL M28 Bryza, which flew from Slovakia, where it was performing the same test for the Slovak QRA. The main task of this mission was to make visual identification, establishing of communication and escorting of the Polish aircraft to the Pardubice airport.
